It turns out Baltimore County was one of a few school districts that continued with virtual instruction Thursday, despite the snow.
Snow days are not what they used to be. A virtual snow day off had everything to do with the school calendar, so it was a mixed bag depending on whether you live in the north, south, east or west.
“Snow day, we are so excited. We slept in and now we are going to a lot and go sledding, Anne Arundel County parent and teacher Colleen Burghardt said.
Burghardt had one thing in mind: Having fun. That s because the district got a pass to play Thursday. In Harford County, students also enjoyed a day off from virtual school.
