THE Safer Communities team in Fife have pledged to help create a Fife which rejects all forms of violence against women following the investigation into missing Sarah Everard which has shocked the UK. The organisation was responding after seeing thousands of women take to social media to share fears over their safety. Safer Communities – which is made up of partners including Fife Council, Police, Fire & Rescue, the voluntary sector, businesses and local communities – said that women should feel safe but it was not the reality for many. A Facebook post stated: We share the sadness and anger of many following the death of Sarah Everard.
