Electric-Powered Aircraft Could Enter Regional Service In Five Years

Credit: Wideroe Wideroe’s route network exemplifies the opportunity for all-electric commercial airline service: A flight from the Norwegian regional airline’s operational headquarters in Bodo to Leknes in the Lofoten Islands is shorter than 100 km (62 mi.).
