The comfort of made-for-TV holiday movies lies in their consistency.
You have a pretty good idea of what you’re going to get when you turn on the Hallmark Channel or Lifetime or flip through the holiday offerings on Netflix between Oct. 31 and Jan.1 of each year. There will be a meet-cute of some sort. There will be a romantic plotline.
