The latest chapter in Alyson Hannigan’s career is a movie adaptation of a book that’s near and dear to her family.
The “How I Met Your Mother” actress’ two daughters, ages 8 and 11, were already fans of the “Flora & Ulysses” novel about a girl and her superpowered pet squirrel when Hannigan was asked to star in a new film based on the book.
“My kids are at an age where those kinds of things make me extra cool,” Hannigan told the New York Daily News with a laugh. “So I got extra points. I kind of think they love me a little more right now.”
