PH Dota veteran Abeng proving to be the key to Execration s early success in DPC Season 2

Published April 29, 2021, 4:01 PM Photo from Execration  If there’s someone to commend for Execration’s recent success in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Season 2-Southeast Asia Upper Division, it has to be the Filipino Dota veteran Abeng “Abeng” Dicdican.  Execration position-4 support Don Carlo “BDz” Manalo bared that Abeng, a former carry and mid player of Execration back in the 2014-2015 era, is working as the team’s analyst.  On top of that, the legendary player and good friend of Exe coach Kimuel “Kim0” Borromeo Rodis is serving as the motivational speaker for BDz and the crew.  “Having our new analyst is really a good addition for us. He’s the one making the team jel. He’s giving a speech for us and it’s really helpful,” BDz told the PGL panelists following Execration’s 2-0 sweep of Smart Omega on Wednesday night, April 28. 

Dota veteran Flysolo takes talent to Mobile Legends

Another great Filipino Dota player has moved to the booming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang professional scene.  Ten-year Dota veteran and former Clutch Gamers captain Kenneth “Flysolo” Coloma decided to hop into the esports landscape of Moonton’s mobile MOBA game.  “It’s a tough decision I’ve made yesterday and I’m 100 percent sure that I will switch to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang,” Flyosolo said on his Facebook post on Friday, February 12.  “I will try my luck and apply my drafting skills on this game… Bye Dota 2 world. It was a pleasure to meet you all!” added the 29-year-old pro, who is now looking to sell his Dota 2 account which is currently ranked at No. 94 in the SEA leaderboard with around 8.9k MMR.

TNC, other PH teams set to compete in new DPC season

Published January 2, 2021, 2:49 PM The road to the $40 million The International 10 (TI10) begins for TNC Predator and fellow Filipino Dota 2 teams as Romanian organizer PGL revealed the invited teams for the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC)-Southeast Asia Region.  On New Year’s Day, game developer Valve bared its plans for the 2021 DPC, expounding its implementation of Regional Leagues that lead to an 18-team Major tournament at the end of the two seasons.  As previously announced, teams will compete in six-week Regional Leagues divided into upper and lower divisions, with the top finishers from the former getting a spot to the Major.
