First Summit Pride march brings love, laughter and tears for LGBTQ community

People adorned with every color of the rainbow marched down Main Street in Frisco as others cheered from the sidewalks. Following the march, participants gathered at the Frisco Historic Park & Museum to speak about what the event meant to them. “The response I’ve gotten from you guys, our community, has been amazing,” said Emily Carisch, a senior at Summit High School who planned the event. “Summit County is such an open and loving place, and I’ve been able to see that whenever small businesses ask me to put up more flyers or people contact me… to ask if they can help out.”
