Lifeline Fiji received a grant of $5000 from the Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation under its Sustainable Funding Program.
Vodafone ATH executive officer Ambalika Devi said the grant would help the organisation support its crisis interventions and counsellors who assisted them.
“It’s not all about the dollars as today’s (yesterday) grant signing is only a small amount which is $5k for technology rollout, what we want to see is that the changes are brought to reality in the lives of people on the ground,” she said.
“We are all responsible for our own growth, our own development, our own understanding, our own knowledge and competence but at the end of the day, we all need each other and Lifeline Fiji is there to hear.”
