Officers say an adult woman was stabbed multiple times at the Wingate hotel off 19th Avenue South just before noon. When they arrived, authorities found the woman in the lobby with multiple stab wounds. She has been transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives say 75-year-old James D. Bogart, who has no permanent address, was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault. Bogart was initially taken from the scene for questioning after the incident, but has since been charged.

Anyone found walking their bike or carrying their skateboard on the sidewalk on Broadway between NP Avenue to 6th Avenue North will be rewarded with a coupon for a free scoop of ice cream.
“We’re looking at trying to educate everybody on walking, using the sidewalks for the purpose and for the safety aspect.
