FARGO - This winter is on pace to land in the top 10 for least snowy, cold winters in Fargo.
The unseasonable warmth has sent skaters out in full force to area ice rinks. But, by Friday, January is making a comeback with a nearly 30-degree drop in temperatures.
The new Essentia Health Plaza in West Fargo has been packed with over 20,000 skaters since opening up on December 17.
Frostival heats up the calendar with winter fun through Feb. 27

FARGO After an unseasonably warm first half of January, temperatures will drop a bit this week and for Frostival organizers, the frigid dip couldn’t come at a better time.
The annual midwinter celebration of outdoor activities and entertainment started last week, but kicks into gear this week with a full slate of events.
