Budapest Airport Accredited for Intl Aviation Restart Programme
The Airport Council International (ACI) on Monday said that Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport has fulfilled the health-care and sanitation requirements to participate in its Business Aviation Restart and Recovery programme.
The programme aims to help the restart of international air travel by encouraging epidemiological measures and sharing experience among air travel organisations, airport operator Budapest Airport told MTI on Tuesday.

Coronavirus Testing Lab Opens at Liszt Ferenc Airport
Members of the public can now get tested for Covid-19 at a testing lab opened at Liszt Ferenc International Airport on Friday.
The lab set up by Liszt Ferenc International operator Budapest Airport and Universal Medical Hub is located on the arrivals level of terminal 2B and offers both PCR and rapid antigen tests to everyone, Katalin Valentinyi, the operator’s communications director, said in a statement.

Central Bank Sees GDP Shrinking 6.0-6.5% This Year
The National Bank of Hungary (NBH) expects the economy to contract between 6.0 percent and 6.5 percent this year, forecasts from its latest quarterly Inflation Report released on Tuesday show.
The central bank had forecast GDP contraction of between 5.1 percent and 6.8 percent in the previous report released in September.
The Finance Ministry expects GDP to fall by 6.4 percent this year.
