ceiling. some of the positions is changing a bit. there s a bit of mistrust on both sides. it looks like there will be a show down. we probably could haveç predicd that. we re getting closer to the deadline. therefore things are getting more tense. if you think there s trouble on the republican side, on the democratic side there is some thought on friday with the big the wall street journal headline that aarp strong lobbying group, the strongest lobbying group for seniors and no changes in social security or medicare was beginning to shift positions. their chief lobbyist said they would consider some social security cuts as part of the bigger deal and then we discovered they were running the same tv ad that they started running a week ago which said no medicare changes, no social security cuts. let s take away the business loopholes. so you can see there s no shift on that side as well. it looks to me like they have a long way to go. reporter: a lot of push back.
