Nagaland: Skill development training held at Peren

Dimapur, Aug. 22 (EMN): To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Peren Township, a demand-driven skill development programme on tiling, plumbing and masonry for the youth of Nagaland in construction sector was conducted at Peren Town Hall on Monday. A DIPR report stated that the programme was organised by the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship with Zynorique Initiative Society as the training partner. The inaugural programme was graced by deputy director, department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Alongse Sangtam and chairman Zynorique Initiative Society, Richard Belho. Skill development programme in Aboi concludes

Dimapur, Aug. 16 (EMN): A demand-driven skill development programme on tiling, plumbing and masonry for youth of Nagaland in construction sector was conducted in Aboi town hall under Mon district from August 8 to the 13th. A DIPR report stated that MLA of 47 Aboi AC, E Eshak Hessum, attended the culmination programme as the special guest. He encouraged the participants to take ownership and uplift the local economy through their newly acquired skills. The programme was chaired by SDO (C) Angjangyang, Yanithung Ngullie, while the vote of thanks was delivered by commanding officer of 11th NAP (IR) Aboi, Yangba Konyak. Nagaland: Skill development programme inaugurated in Noklak

Dimapur, July 18 (EMN): The inaugural of the demand-driven skill development programme for the youth of Nagaland construction sector was held on Monday at DC’s conference hall, Noklak. Speaking on the occasion, deputy commissioner, Noklak, Hiazu Meru, said that Nagaland is a salaried economy where societies look towards government jobs for employment, informed an official press release. However, since employment in the government sector is saturated, the DC encouraged the youth to learn skills for gainful employment in the private sector as well. Meru said people of Noklak are naturally gifted with skills such as handicraft making, blacksmiths, pottery making and even building modern wooden houses. He hoped that the training in the construction sector would benefit many youths to be equipped with skills for gainful employment, the release stated. Dimapur, July 4 (EMN): Skill development training programme for youths in the construction sector commenced at Longkhim town in Tuensang district on Monday. The training is being organised by the Department of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and District Skill Committee, Tuensang, with Zynorique Initiative Society as the empanelled training partner.
