Dennis Lloyd Whipple, 73, of Zumbro Falls, MN, passed away on November 11, 2023. He was born on December 25th, 1949, in Lake City. Dennis was a devoted husband, a man of faith, and a respected member of his community. Dennis was a loving and supportive husband to his wife JoeAnn, sharing a bond that was built on love, kindness, and mutual respect. He is also survived by his sister Diane. he was preceded in death by his mother Pearl, father Lloyd, and daughter JeanAnn. Dennis served in the AirForce 1970-1973, he farmed his land for most of his life along with various other jobs. Dennis enjoyed farming, wood working, and listening to Christian music. Oak Hills Wesleyan Church was his spiritual home, where he found strength and comfort in his faith. A private burial service will be held to honor and celebrate Dennis’s life.
Donald Leon VanSchaick, age 77, passed away at his home in Zumbro Falls, Minnesota on October 19th, 2023. Don was born March 1st, 1946, in Rochester, Minnesota to Leon and Hazel (Wahl) VanSchaick. Don joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 20 and served his country in Vietnam from 1966 -1967. He was honorably discharged after 3 years in the service.
