KLANG: Many of the Covid-19 problems faced by Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR) have been solved through the Health Minister s surprise visit, says hospital director Dr Zulkarnian Mohd Rawi.
Dr Zulkarnain said that Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba approved the need for beds, infrastructure and equipment on the spot when he visited HTAR on Thursday (July 29).
“We are very thankful, said Dr Zulkarnain, who added that he accompanied Dr Adham to the UKM Specialist Children s Hospital at Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras after the latter s impromptu visit to HTAR. The minister had made arrangements for us to send Stages Three, Four and Five patients there for treatment to ease the congestion here.They can take up to 200 patients,” said Dr Zulkarnain.
