out there. my colleagues are doing well. none of them in fact, the very first one to test positive had no symptoms whatsoever. and so i don t want people to say, well, i don t want to get vaccinated because you can still get covid. that s true. we always knew that, right? but the rest of us are doing just fine. i agree the vp doesn t have anything to worry about. the majority of us were in a lot closer contact with these three people and none of us have tested positive since. so i think that we re fine. i do believe that that is going to put a chill on our sitdown visits, but we re committed to this. and we re here until this bill dies on august 7th. we re willing to take zoom visits, willing to do whatever is necessary to make these visits happen. let me ask you about some of those sitdown visits. there are reports you were planning to stay in d.c. and meet with speaker pelosi and other top lawmakers on the hill there. have you heard back from the speaker about possibly meeting?
A cherished tradition of the holiday season for kids is sitting on Santaâs lap and telling him what you want for Christmas. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has made getting up close and personal with Santa Claus a risky proposition.
Some places still let kids visit Santa â with social distancing and protective barriers in place. Thatâs better than nothing, but itâs not the same. Plus, you still have to go to a place full of potentially infected people, and that carries a certain amount of risk.
If we can go to school and work remotely, of course we can visit Santa remotely too. There are quite a few websites that let you schedule a virtual visit. I havenât personally tried any of these experiences, but Iâll review the offerings of a handful of sites.
