The township s Zoning Commission will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. to tackle the issue.
The site, located in the 4000 block of Addison Avenue NE, is vacant since the school building was razed about a decade ago. A limited liability corporation called Fairhope Properties acquired the property from the Louisville City Board of Education.
Its plans are not clear. They did file an application that they want to rezone, township Zoning Inspector Jeff Shipman said. They are going to bring their ideas to us. But no specifics (yet).
Jay Barton, a local accountant who is an agent for Fairhope Properties, did not have much to say about plans for the property.
