Finally. The Playhouse in the Park’s lost season – 2020-2021 – will see the light of day.
Not all of it. But the 2021-2022 season the Playhouse announced this week includes many of the shows the company had scheduled last year.
This new season will see a few changes, though. Audiences will have to wait until October for the first production. Normally, the Playhouse kicks things off in late August or early September. Also, the season will be slightly shorter, with just eight productions instead of 11. Three of those eight, however, are world premieres, with two of them commissioned by the Playhouse.
