The dismembered body parts of the Zimbabwean man who slipped and fell into the Victoria Falls gorge on New Yearâs Day were finally retrieved on Monday by the  Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) and other stakeholders.
The Herald reports that the dismembered body parts of Roy George Tinashe Dikinya who slipped and fell into a gorge at the Victoria Falls Rain Forest on New Yearâs Day have been retrieved following a six-hour operation.
What was supposed to be a memorable holiday for Dikinya ended in tragedy when he accidentally slipped and fell 108 meters into the gorge.
He is alleged to have slipped at the Danger Point while taking selfies with his smartphone.

What was supposed to be a memorable holiday in the country’s tourism capital ended in tragedy for a local tourist who slipped and fell 108 metres into the Victoria Falls gorge.
After struggling to recover the body parts which were trapped at the foot of the gorge, the rescue team on Tuesday managed to execute one of the most difficult and dangerous rescue missions ever witnessed in the resort town.
