Geneva, 17 May 2021 – Geneva-based NGO WAPPP (World Association of PPP Units & Professionals) has established a Port Chapter to address the challenges of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in the port sector.
As part of its launch activities the Port Chapter will be running a panel discussion at the WAPPP Annual Conference on 14th -16th of June. A regular contributor to WAPPP s activities, the Chapter will then hold ad hoc seminars, regular information exchange meetings and publish articles and blogs.
The Chapter’s pro bono steering committee is headed by Erik Wehl who has been working in the port space for 20 years, initially with one of the leading global terminal operators and since 2009 in his own consulting practice specialising in ports, container terminals and other physical infrastructure projects.
