Filipino fighter Jenel Lausa will be facing a new opponent in his BRAVE Combat Federation debut Thursday, March 11.
In a last-minute decision, BRAVE announced Tuesday, March 9, that Rahmatullah Yousufzai of Afghanistan has withdrawn from his three-round flyweight bout against Lausa in BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination in Bahrain.
Replacing Yousufzai is Ryskulbek Ibraimov of Kyrgyzstan, who was initially scheduled to face Kazakhstan’s Asu Almabaev in the same card. BRAVE did not disclose the reason for the fighters’ withdrawal.
Ibraimov, who holds an 18-8 record on top of six submissions and three knockouts, rides on a seven-match win streak since April 2019 before taking his act to the Bahrain-based promotion.
Filipino fighter Jenel Lausa is seeking big time redemption when he enters the cage once again on his much-awaited mixed martial arts comeback in BRAVE Combat Federation next week.
