到达郑州后，保电人员迅速与当地供电公司就抢修保电方案进行联络沟通，立即投入郑州安和小区应急供电保障工作中。据了解，该小区共有8幢楼，涉及居民700余户，断电对高温洪灾下居民生活质量影响较大，恢复供电需求十分迫切。针对此情况，抢修人员立刻组织对受灾情况和配电装置进行全面查勘，清理障碍物，确定发电车应急接入位置，铺设电缆，经过5个小时不间断作业，终于为受灾居民恢复供电。
据悉，7月22日下午，苏州供电公司从全市抽调经验丰富、作风过硬的65名骨干人员组成第二批抢修突击队，安排16辆应急发电车、应急照明车和抢修车，前往郑州执行电力抢修任务。
