Brandon Paul, a veteran wing who played one season in the NBA, has finalised a deal to join the Adelaide 36ers for the remainder of the 2021 NBL season.
As first reported by ESPN on February 14, Paul, a 6 4 wing, will replace Jeremy Kendle, who joined the team after Donald Sloan requested a release.
Paul, 29, is coming off a stint in China with Zhejiang Chouzhou, where he averaged 10.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists, in 11 minutes per game. There s a limit to how many minutes import players can play in the Chinese Basketball Association. I m looking forward to the opportunity and to contributing every way I can with the 36ers. I know quite a few players across the NBL and have heard great things about the league, so I cannot wait to get there and be part of it. Things moved quickly because the fit for myself and the 36ers feels right, Paul said from his home in Chicago.
