China approves Sinopharm vaccine for children, teenagers

The approval was granted by the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council, which was set up to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. It is the second domestic Covid-19 vaccine made available for children and teenagers in China. In June, Sinovac Biotech s vaccine was authorised for emergency use for young people.
