otezla. show more of you. all day long we ve been covering the crowds protesting the trump administration s zero-tolerance policy on immigration. these demonstrators are giving voice to people like 16-year-old david of guatemala. david says he crossed the u.s. border in arizona last summer to seek asylum after receiving death threats. he was arrested by border patrol almost immediately, but instead of treating him like an immigrant seeking asylum, david says he was detained and labeled a gang member. drew griffin has his story. reporter: he crossed the border last summer just 16 years on old and alone. he says he was escaping violence and death threats in guatemala. translator: my family had been threatened and i knew there was a possibility that if i didn t leave, i might be killed. reporter: he says his family paid nearly $4700 to a coyote to
remember in november that this is about politics but let s keep it rolling. el paso, texas. protests are also happening. this is a hotspot for controversy surrounding immigration. today s rally happening about 40 minutes from where some separated kids are being sheltered. what are you seeing casey? this was fascinating because this is a multifaceted rally. because of its proximity to mexico.behind me is the port of entry and the bridge that gets you from el paso into juarez, mexico. you have protests happening here on the u.s. side and a crowd of 100 or 150 people. one of the smaller crowds we have seen with protests againsa the country. they met with protesters and warez. and they will be coming back to the port of entry later back to
