MINDEN Douglas County Board of Commissioners awarded $125,200 in grant funding through the Community Grant Program to non-profit organizations that provide substantial benefit to residents of the community on January 6, 2022.

LAKE TAHOE, Calif./Nev. – One of the most successful tournaments in the 33-year history of the American Century Championship celebrated another annual tradition, as the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority (LTVA) distributed $125,000 in funds as a result of the July event to 26 South Lake Tahoe area non-profit organizations.
Another $85,000 was given to 19 Lake Tahoe area non-profits by the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority (LTVA) and American Century Championship on Thursday. The money comes from the 2021 celebrity golf tournament at Edgewood Tahoe in July.
