As many as 20 stocks hit their 52-week lows today. BSE stocks such as AFEL, AKI, Anuroop, Besteast, Bheema Cements, EMS, FLFL and GCM Securities hit their respective one-year low levels. That said, 201 stocks touched their one-year high levels today.
In the broader market space, BSE smallcap index has surged about 48 per cent in its 52-week low hit on March 28, 2023, while BSE midcap is up by 42 per cent since the same time from its yearly lows.
Defence stocks: The company, in an exchange filing, said, "Sika Interplant has secured significant new orders for advanced engineering products and services in the recent past. With these recent contracts, the cumulative of new orders received by Sika since the start of FY 2023-24 is Rs 117 crore (approx.) as on August 11, 2023." The company provides advanced products and solutions to the aerospace and defence sector.
