In a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges, Zee Entertainment has stated that the company is not involved in any negotiations on the Sony merger deal and that reports suggesting a revival of talks are ‘factually incorrect’.
Vodafone Idea, GMR Airports Infra, Canara Bank, Bandhan Bank , Indus Towers, Punjab National Bank, GNFC, Tata Chemicals and PVR Inox may enter the ban list as these stocks are near the 95 percent MWPL.
Zee Entertainment share price opened at ₹208.60 on Tuesday against the previous close of ₹231.75 on the BSE. It extended losses and cracked 25 per cent to hit the lower circuit of ₹173.85 on the BSE.
The dialogues are going on between Zee Entertainment and Sony Group with respect to the completion of the deal ahead of the expiry of the 1-month grace period that both parties had agreed to, ET NOW reported, quoting sources.
