New Zealand s first portion of athletes to represent the silver fern at the Tokyo Olympics have been conditionally selected 16 April 2021
The 15-strong team is led by perennial Olympians Dame Valerie Adams in the shot put and 1500 metre runner Nick Willis.
Maddison-Lee Wesche , Jacko Gill and Tom Walsh join Adams as the other shot putters included.
Discus competitor Connor Bell, hammer throwers Julia Ratcliffe and Lauren Bruce, and javelin thrower Tori Peeters round out the heaving community.
High jumper Hamish Kerr, runners Sam Tanner, Camille Buscomb, Zane Robertson and Malcolm Hicks, and race walker Quentin Rew are also included.
