The card for NXT s next TakeOver event now has four confirmed matches. WWE has announced that Mercedes Martinez will face Xia Li at NXT TakeOver: In Your House. The show is taking place on Sunday, June 13. After Martinez defeated Zayda Ramier on last week s NXT, there was an angle where the lights went out and smoke began to fill the ring. A black mark from Li s Tian Sha faction then appeared on the video screen. The lights went out again and the mark was on Martinez s hand when they came back on. In a promo that aired on NXT tonight, Li said she ll never forget how Martinez tried to embarrass her when they faced off in the 2017 Mae Young Classic. Martinez defeated Li in the first round of that tournament. The bout was Li s first-ever pro wrestling match.
