Election of Sadiq Sanjrani, Mirza Muhammad Afridi to ensure supremacy of Parliament: PTI Senators Senators of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) say election of Sadiq Sanjrani and Mirza Muhammad Afridi of the ruling alliance as Senate Chairman and Deputy Chairman respectively will help strengthen democracy, and ensure rule of law and supremacy of Parliament in the country. Talking to News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan after the election, PTI Senator Faisal Javed said Prime Minister Imran Khan always accorded top priority to eradication of corruption, whereas Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) of opposition parties is aimed at safeguarding corrupt elements at all levels. He further said that the incumbent government is taking special measures to overcome challenges, including inflation and poverty. Faisal Javed expressed the confidence that Prime Minister Imran Khan will soon announce a massive relief package for the common masses.
