The United Nations says its premier prize for press freedom has been awarded to three imprisoned Iranian female journalists “for their commitment to truth and accountability.”
The winners include Niloufar Hamedi, who broke the news of Mahsa Amini's death at the hands of Iran's morality police, and Elaheh Mohammadi who wrote about Ms Amini's funeral.
