The accused, Zaid Rana, claimed in his bail application that former Mumbai Zonal Director of NCB Sameer Wankhede had falsely planted evidence against him as in Aryan Khan's case.
The accused, 20-year-old Zaid Rana, was arrested in April from his Mumbai residence by the NCB, in an alleged drugs case. A chargeheet against Rana and three others was filed, after which Rana filed the bail application.
A retired Mumbai cop has claimed that his son was arrested by the NCB in a false drugs case earlier this year. Further, he said that although Sameer Wankhede was present at the time of the arrest, this has not been recorded in the panchnama.
