Millions of viewers have been witnessing this Michigan teen continue to get better and better each week. 16-year old Rachel Mac has learned her top 9 fate on the hit NBC reality singing competition “The Voice.”
Mac, who is a high school student from Romeo in Metro Detroit, sang “Rainbow” by Kacey Musgraves last night on the show’s first live performance show of the season. The fourth round of the show. Mac was among the 17 finalists which included Detroit’s Zania Alaké.

The Voice kicked off the first live shows of season 20 on Monday, as each of the the Top 17 artists performed a brand new song, in the hopes of making it through to the next round.
The live shows also mean coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas are done sending artists home viewer voting will determine which of the Top 17 will get to move on to the Top 9 and then to the finals, to compete for the season 20 crown.
Fans can vote for their favorite singer, and for Tuesday s Instant Save, by using
Kelly Clarkson gained a slight edge Tuesday on The Voice as her singer Corey Ward won the Wild Card Instant Save to join the top nine.
The 39-year-old pop star will have three singers performing live next week while fellow coaches Blake Shelton, 44, John Legend, 42, and Nick Jonas, 28, each only have two singers remaining on their teams.
Corey, 34, faced off against Blake s singer Pete Mroz, John s contestant Ryleigh Modig, and Nick s performer Jose Figueroa Jr during the Wild Card Instant Save with viewer voting determining the winner.

Uh… yeah, it was not a great night for Team Nick.
Or Team Legend, for that matter. As I was typing, the likeliest eliminees included Team Legend’s Zania Alaké, Ryleigh Modig and Victor Solomon (even though he gave arguably his most spirited performance to date), Team Blake’s Pete Mroz and onetime frontrunner Zae Romeo from Team Kelly.
