But its important for our citizens and our vets to know the vast majority of p
Political influence of blacks and hopes that will bring social economic benefits. They will flow national. Elect more black officials these other benefits will flow national. Thats really been a key strategy of the civil rights leadership. Particular since the 1960s in the wake of the passage of Civil Rights Act of 1964 and voting rightsing a of 1965. They made an effort to elect more black officials. I thought that the Obama Presidency was really the culmination of this effort. Everyday of the Obama Presidency it will be a good time to assess that strategy. Host what as far as the gains made or not made, how would you square that out . What would you say in either category . Guest i dont think it panned out the way the architects of this strategy hoped. Thats not necessarily due to obama policies. The book partially a critique of those policies. Its a broader critique of trying to move a group from poverty to prosperity, primarily through political means. I think that once again obama
