involved keeping some keep portions of obamacare. bring in some democratic ideas to sort of break the stranglehold that the freedom caucus has over the republican party. he really might have spent on his way to shaking up politics and actually getting a win. to the extend that he ties himself to the same sort of poisonous dynamics that brought down the last speaker and brought paul ryan to power. he s in, like i said, for a lot of frustration. let s start there, zachary, with the paul ryan power. there is talk breitbart some of the conservative outlets of uncertainty of ryan s future. how far does that go? he didn t want the job, but only person they can build the consensus around. is his speakership in jeopardy and who could get the votes from this diverse caucus?
unified than we ve seen them in years. john and christine. let s talk about the newly shaped campaign, we ve got cnn policy editor zachary wolf. right and live for us this morning. zach, is this kind of a new strategy from team trump. on the front make of the wall street journal, the trump attack, turn voters against clinton. we heard them say they think his new strategy is to disgust democrats so they don t come out to vote. is that really happening? well, you know, maybe it s some things he s doing in search of a strategy. you would have to kind of go backwards and think did he do that all of that on purpose to make that happen or is he reacting to his own foyables with the reaction of that tape that wouldn t have predicted that would happen. perhaps he s rolling with the punches. i don t believe voter suppression by democrats
discuss this newly reshapen campaign the managing editor of cnn politics digital zach wolf. thanks for joining us, zach. appreciate it. so, donald trump really is lashing out on all fronts. he s attacking hang seng clinton we heard that in his rally last night in panama city. he s also going after what he considers establishment republicans. paul ryan on twitter. again last night with bill o reilly. and then john mccain the arizona senator who at one point said he was going to vote for trump pulled back his endorsement of trump after the access hollywood comments and trump went hard on mccain overnight. he was desperate to get my endorsement. i gave him my endorsement because he needed for the primary. he easily wins the primary all of a sudden, he does the unendorsement. he didn t like the tape thing. give me a break. he s never heard salty language before. john mccain who has probably the
republicans can t disown donald trump he believes this late in the game. right. that goes to the exact problem that paul ryan is having where he wants to simply ignore that donald trump exists while protecting his firewalls in the house and senate. it s very hard. he doesn t want to say i endorse him but at the same time help him at all. republicans and establishment in this country have the most difficult situation i think than anybody s ever seen in politics or politicians. it s incredible. you saw the smile on president obama s face, i m sure he wouldn t tell you he s happy about this for them, it s pretty clear, they re pretty excited. zach wolf, nice to see you this morning. we ll see you in a couple minutes. a little bit of talk about money. the richest americans will see striking differences in their tax bills depending on who gets
