Alone after her survived 87 days alone in Patagonia, South America in 2016.
His YouTube channel,
Fowler s Makery and Mischief, has over 800,000 subscribers and millions of views of his videos of his adventures including fishing, outdoor survival in Maine and demonstrations of his skill with a slingshot.
He also likes to build things. One would think his latest project would seem impossible to actually get to work, but this guy doesn t flinch at the word impossible without at least giving all he s got to make it happen.
The latest challenge he took on was to build a functioning hovercraft for use on frozen Seven Tree Pond in Union. If it was successful, he could use it as transportation to get to a flag while he s ice fishing. All he needed was some building supplies from Home Depot, a couple of inflatable air mattresses and 10 leaf blowers.

Will This Union, ME Man Win $100,000 on National TV Tonight?
It s pretty safe to say that Zachary Fowler is a network TV competition pro, right? I mean, how do you NOT call someone a pro when they re already $500,000 richer after conquering the History Channel?
A few years ago, Zachary, who is a native of Vermont but moved to Coastal Maine and settled in Union to become a wooden boat builder, competed on Season 3 of the History Channel show Alone. And the title of the show pretty much lists the entire premise contestants are dropped off at a remote location, alone (except for Season 4 where they eventually met up with a family member after locating them in the woods to finish the competition off as pairs), and try to be the contestant who survives the longest. The contestant who survives the longest wins a $500,000 grand prize.
Zachary Fowler of Union won $500,000 on the History Channel's 'Alone,' and Thursday he'll try for $100,000 on TBS' 'Go-Big Show' by wielding a slingshot.
