A Plainfield family created a huge snowman outside their house. (Courtesy of Kelly Thorsen)
PLAINFIELD, IL Plainfield has a lot to offer since last weekend s snowstorm (have you seen the giant polar bear sculptures?), and residents are now stopping by another house to take in a magnificent sight.
Kelly Thorsen and her family, who live on Plainfield-Naperville Road just north of the train tracks, built a giant 18-foot snowman.
Subscribe We made one for fun and out of boredom three years ago, and it was 17 feet, Thorsen said. We promised we d try to top it as soon as we had enough snow.
