On Friday, the Prince George Spruce Kings came up empty against their long-time rival dropping a 1-0 close shave from the Chilliwack Coliseum in BCHL action. The only scoring came at 16:25 of the opening period as Dawson Good lit the lamp shorthanded against Spruce Kings netminder Jordan Fairlie. After PG outshot Chilliwack 12-9 after 20 minutes, the game tightened up considerably as the Chiefs edged the Spruce Kings in shots the rest of the way by a 12-11 margin. Chilliwack went 0-for-4 on the power-play while the Spruce Kings were unable to score on their two opportunities.
