St. Luke’s School senior students Cate Mathews and Zach Amendola were recently named candidates for the U.S. Department of Education’s Presidential Scholars Program. Both Mathews and Amendola are Wilton residents.
Each year, this program recognizes high school seniors across the country for their outstanding accomplishments in academics, the arts, and career and technical education. Mathews, and Amendola are among only 5,000 students who qualified as candidates for the program out of the 3.7 million seniors nationwide expected to graduate this year. Students must perform exceptionally well on the College Board SAT or ACT college admissions standarized tests, or receive
