Year Two dress up for St David s Day (Picture: Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg) A BARRY school has not let the coronavirus pandemic stop them celebrating St David s Day. Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg, on Colcot Road, has traditionally celebrated the patron saint of Wales - St David - on March 1 and 2021 was no exception. The youngest children, who have now returned to school, dressed in the traditional Welsh costume and tasted some Welsh traditional food - including Welsh cakes - in order to celebrate together. Older pupils are still working remotely from home, but a special assembly was arranged for them by the Welsh-medium school.
