Police seize gun and ammunition, arrest one by 20210429 A 39-year old man was ar­rest­ed af­ter a quan­ti­ty of am­mu­ni­tion and a firearm were found dur­ing an op­er­a­tion in Laven­tille this morn­ing. Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, based on in­for­ma­tion re­ceived, of­fi­cers of the Port of Spain Di­vi­sion Task Force and the K9 Unit con­duct­ed sev­er­al search­es in Port of Spain. Dur­ing one of the search­es, 15 rounds of nine-mil­lime­tre am­mu­ni­tion were found at a res­i­dence at Old St Joseph Road, Laven­tille.  A 39-year old­er man was ar­rest­ed.
