Hiro Mashima s Eden s Zero Anime Adaptation Sets Overseas Netflix Debut

We learned back in June 2020 that an anime adaptation was in the works and was previously scheduled for an April 10th, 2021 debut on NTV in Japan. Then the bad news hit that it was set for Netflix in Japan with no simulcast overseas. The official site has now updated as you can see in the Tweet below that the series will get an overseas Netflix delivery in the fall of 2021, allowing for time for multiple dubs to be produced and multiple subtitle tracks to be set as well. Firm dates will come later this year.

The streaming service has dropped an English subtitled trailer for the show to highlight their pickup of it.

We learned back in June that an anime adaptation is coming for the series that now has eleven volumes out.  The show was previously scheduled for an April 10th, 2021 debut on NTV in Japan and now an update has landed that gives us a big and colorful key visual below along with three new cast announcements. Shinji Ishihara is set as the chief director with Yushi Suzuki directing. Mitsutaka Hirota is working on the scripts with Yurika Sato handling the character design adaptation. JC Staff is on board for the production.
