READERS have reacted with sadness after it was announced the owners of a popular Chinese takeaway were retiring after 40 years in business. In an announcement on social media, a spokeswoman for Yungnien in Cavendish Street said: “Dear customers, after 40 years of business, we have decided that this would be the right time to retire. “It has been an absolute pleasure to serve you all, and we have met thousands of wonderful people during all these years - many of these have remained to be good friends. “We are very grateful for all your custom, support and love. “It’s been quite an amazing journey and we enjoyed feeding everyone!”
