According to Yulia Zubar, the head of the foreign trade forecasting department at the Economy Ministry, the planning documents for 2024 provide for a 7.6% increase in exports of goods and services or $3.8 billion.
The Belarusian economy has adapted to the shocks brought about by the sanctions, and has made up for the loss of Western markets, the head of foreign trade forecasting at the Economy Ministry Yulia Zubar said.
The highest growth was registered in the export of consumer goods (28.3%) and investment goods (21.9%), which is due to the recovery of investment activity and the demand in the Russian Federation. Merchandise exports to the Russian and Chinese markets are at their highest.
