There are currently outbreaks at the Chartwell Malaspina long-term care home in Nanaimo and the Ts’i’ts’uwatul’ Lelum assisted living facility in Duncan. Seven residents and one staff member have tested positive at the Nanaimo home, while one staff member has tested positive at the Duncan facility.
