Llandudno s Venue Cymru has carried out its last Covid-19 vaccine

Venue Cymru was transformed into a rainbow hospital in response to the pandemic. Posting on Facebook, Venue Cymru wrote: It has been a privilege to be a part of the vaccine roll out and to work alongside the fantastic NHS team. We wish them all the best in their continued efforts. Due to the low rates of Covid-19 in North Wales, the facility and oxygen system are no longer required. Venue Cymru along with Deeside Leisure Centre and Bangor University were handed over to Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) in April 2020 to provide a combined 1,000 additional beds. This was in response to the pandemic.
