On Thursday, Feb. 8, local residents, students and educators implored the members of the school board not to divert funding away from the performing arts space planned for the district’s facilities improvement project.
At its most recent meeting on Thursday, Nov. 9, the Yellow Springs school board voted unanimously to approve a resolution of necessity that will place a substitute operations levy on the March 19, 2024, ballot.
Superintendent Terri Holden announced that YS Schools received an overall five-star rating the highest rating possible on its 2022–23 state report card, which was released by the Ohio Department of Education in September.
