Wilfredo Bimbito Mendez (16-1) will fight for the second time in 2020 on Wednesday night when he takes on Alexis Diaz (25-2) at the Hotel Catalonia Malecon Center in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The WBO minimumweight champion was last in action in February when he stopped Gabriel Mendoza in 9 rounds in Panama. This will be the third title defense for the Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico native.
For this fight he trained in Las Vegas, Nevada and worked with world class strength and conditioning coach Angel Memo Heredia.
