The Danbury Police Activities League will receive $300,000 over the next two years courtesy of the State of Connecticut’s Youth Violence Prevention Initiative Grant. The funds will be used toward youth programs, utilities and equipment as well as facility maintenance and upgrades. The Danbury PAL has received the grant since 2019, and according to Danbury PAL Executive Director, Vince Jackson, the funds are invaluable to youth throughout the greater Danbury community.
